Two Elementor widgets

A number that just sits there gets scrolled past.

Elementor’s default text widget can display “1,250” — it just can’t make anyone stop and read it. This plugin adds an Animated Counter that counts up on scroll, and an Animated Progress Bar that fills the same way, so your stats finally get the half-second of attention they’re supposed to earn.

Why this exists

A static number reads like a spreadsheet cell, not an achievement.

Most “stats” sections on WordPress sites are a heading, a big number, and a caption — pasted in once and never touched again. The moment that turns a number into a milestone is the count-up: it tells the visitor “this grew,” not just “this is.” Elementor’s core widgets don’t do that on their own.

The number is right, the moment is wrong

A count-up that plays instantly on page load has already finished by the time a visitor scrolls down to see it — the whole point of the animation is wasted before anyone's watching.

A progress bar isn't just a number with a shape

"Website Growth: 85%" as plain text doesn't communicate the same thing as a bar that visibly fills to 85% in front of you — but building that bar usually means custom CSS and a page-specific script.

A whole animation library for one effect

Pulling in GSAP just to count a number up from 0 to 1,250 is a lot of extra JavaScript weight for a page that's supposed to load fast.

Formatting big numbers by hand

Typing "1,250" with a comma, or "$1.2M" with a dollar sign and a letter, means the number is frozen text — it can't animate, because there's nothing left to count.

What's inside

Two widgets. One job: make a number worth looking at.

Widget 1

Animated Counter

An icon, a number that counts up, and a title underneath — set once, it plays every time a new visitor scrolls it into view.

Widget 2

Animated Progress Bar

A titled card with a horizontal bar that fills from 0 to whatever percentage you set, with the number counting up inside it as it goes.

Setup

From install to a finished stats section in three steps.

Install and activate

Upload the plugin or install it from the WordPress.org directory. It works alongside the free version of Elementor — nothing else to install first.

Drag in a Container, then the widgets

Set a 4-column Container for a stats row, and drop an Animated Counter into each column — or drag an Animated Progress Bar anywhere on its own.

Set the numbers and let it play

Type in the start and end values or the percentage, pick a duration, and preview the count-up live in the editor.

Every detail is built in

Nothing here needs a second plugin.
